Integrated Killer in Leadership
One of the areas I consistently find myself working with leadership clients on is what I call the integrated killer.
This is an aspect of what we could call both the dark masculine and feminine.
It is the part of a person that can apply total ruthlessness to fulfilling on that which is the will of their soul.
It’s the part that is willing to do whatever it takes that is in alignment with love to take the step that needs to be taken.
It’s the part that is willing to brook no hindrance to their will.
It’s the part that is in this to the death.
Now, to be clear, what I’m talking about here isn’t a part that is up for hurting or being violent to anyone according to their own ego drives.
I’m talking about a part that will accept nothing less than total follow-through on what they have committed themselves to.
Without thought.
Without discussion.
Without distraction.
Ruthless.
Relentless.
Committed.
To the end.
Obviously this is an aspect of our human nature that has been responsible for massive pain and trauma when directed by ego and our own suffering.
And the costs of its misaligned expression are high.
My experience there is a skill to its healthy expression.
It must come with:
➼ Full dedication to operating within the law of love
➼ Making space for and lovingly embracing whatever feelings and unmet needs are coming up in our own emotional body or that of any others affected by our actions
➼ Channelling and truly feeling those feelings in an embodied way
➼ Presence that is committed to operating in alignment with our soul, and ideally that also has access to that depth of our being that is eternally free from and intimate with everything
From here, the integrated killer can express in alignment with soul, love and purpose.
And for those wanting to actually translate their soul calling into real impact in the world, it is critical.
Those who are not willing, when they know what needs to be done and have moved through the pieces I named above, to ruthlessly cut through any procrastination and resistance, will not truly fulfil on their potential.
Making it any more complicated than this is avoidance.
